Icelandic Festival
Cultural Night Festival
Created and enjoyed by the people of Reykjavík, it takes place all across the city center, with celebrations in the streets, squares, museums and parks! It offers a variety of rich cultural events from 1pm to 11pm, and ends with a spectacular fireworks show over the harbour. All events are free and open to the public.
Film Festival
An international film festival held annually in Reykjavik, Iceland. The festival lasts 11 days each year and highlights young talent. One way to do this is by having a competition category that is limited to directors' first or second feature films. Each festival awards a number of prizes, but especially those given to prominent filmmakers who have been recognized for their excellence in their work.
