Iceland Highlights Tour

A special experience and a world of wonders to explore in Frozen

Travel period: 5 nights and 6 days local

Cities visited: Iceland (Keflavik, Grindavik, Reykjavik, Borgarnes, Golden Circle, Hella, Vik, Skaftafell, Skogafoss, Selfoss)

Inclusions: Accommodation for the entire trip (based on double occupancy in a first-class hotel), meals for the entire trip , Korean guide, private vehicle for the entire trip, Blue Lagoon hot spring bath, Jokulsarlon glacier boat, Skógar Museum, Kerid Crater

Things to pack

Since there are hot springs, please prepare a swimsuit and slippers, and also make sure to prepare non-slip hiking boots, winter clothing (gloves, fur hat, hot pack, thermos, etc.), and a raincoat.

It is recommended that you exchange your currency in advance at your place of residence.

Arrive at Keflavik Airport in Iceland and meet your local guide (schedule may vary depending on arrival time) to enjoy a dip in the Blue Lagoon, one of the world's top 10 hot springs.

Blue Lagoon (included)

Located about 10 minutes from Kefla Vik Airport, this open-air hot spring uses natural hot water and seawater from a nearby geothermal power plant to create the world's largest saltwater hot spring with mysterious milky and emerald colored silica hot spring water.

Move to Borgarnes (travel time: 1 hour 10 minutes)

We will visit Hraun Fossa , a lava waterfall that flows into the Hvita River in the Reykholt area, Deildahungur with its clear, boiling hot spring water that is over 100 degrees Celsius, Hellnar where you can see all kinds of wild birds, and the Snæfells Peninsula .

Hraunfossa

The water from the Hallmundarhraun lava field, formed by a volcanic eruption beneath the Langjökull glacier, flows into numerous streams to form a 900-meter-wide waterfall.

Kirkjufell Volcano

Located in the Grundfjord on the northern side of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this arrowhead-shaped mountain, also known as “Church Mountain,” is famous as a filming location for the American drama “Game of Thrones,” making it one of the most filmed mountains in Iceland.

Tour the Golden Circle area, including Thingvellir National Park , where the world's first parliament was held and where the Eurasian and American plates meet, Geysir , famous for its geysers that erupt every 5 to 10 minutes, Gullfoss, which means golden waterfall in the Hvítá River Valley, and Kerid Crater .

Geysir

It is a representative landscape of the volcanic zone, and is synonymous with geysers. Every 5 to 10 minutes, hot water columns shoot up to 10 to 40 meters, allowing you to feel the breath of the living earth. It is called the Golden Circle along with Thingvellir National Park and Gullfoss.

Gullfoss

The tremendous discharge of water, which can fill about 60 shipping containers per second, creates a spectacular sight of roaring noises and sprays of water rising like steam. The water from the waterfall glacier mixes with the soil on the ground and turns yellow. When seen at dusk, its color looks like gold, hence the name “Golden Falls.”

Move to Vik (travel time: 1 hour) and visit Reynisfjara, famous for its black sand beach with columnar jointing caves spread out like a folding screen, and Dyrhólaey, famous for its elephant cliffs.

Vik

It is a small village with a population of about 300 located at the southernmost tip of Iceland. Its official name is Vik i Myrdal. If you climb up the very pretty church on the hill at the entrance of the village, you can see the beautiful view of the surrounding areas, such as Reynisdrangar and Dyrhólaey.

Go to Jokulsarlon (travel time: 2 hours 30 minutes) Glacier boat tour in Jokulsarlon, one of the largest ice caves in Europe, Vatnajokull National Park

Glacier Boat

You can experience the magical ice kingdom by taking an amphibious boat ride across the crystal clear blue lake surface at Jökulsárlón, a beautiful glacier lagoon with floating glaciers.

After visiting Skaftafell National Park, we will visit Skógafoss , famous for its rainbow waterfall, the Skógar Museum, one of Iceland's most famous historical tourist attractions, and Seljalandsfoss, the only waterfall with a 360-degree view behind it.

Skaftafell Glacier Trekking

From Skaftafell National Park, you will travel to the glacier in a specially designed super jeep for about 15 minutes with a professional guide. Once you arrive at the eternal snow, you will tour the glacier and experience a mysterious world reminiscent of a winter wonderland.

The Skoga Museum

Located near Skógafoss in southern Iceland, it is a place where you can learn about Icelandic history and culture with approximately 15,000 exhibits and traditional residential structures such as turf farms, schools, churches, and livestock barns reassembled outdoors.

Seljalandsfoss

This is the only waterfall where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the front of the waterfall falling from a height of 60m, and the fantastic back of the waterfall with the spray of water as you walk behind the waterfall.

In downtown Reykjavik, visit the Parliament Building, Hallgrímskirkja, Harpa, and Laugavegur street .

Halgrims Kirkya

Completed in 1986, this Lutheran church is the tallest building in Iceland, with a shape resembling a columnar joint and a Viking helmet. If you climb up to the observation deck, you can see the entire city of Reykjavik at a glance.
