Fish and Chips
This dish is a must-try while in the UK, and you can find delicious fish and chips wherever you are. The best place to eat fish and chips is outdoors by the sea.

Bangers and Mash
Also known as sausage and mash, it is sausage and mashed potatoes, often served with peas and gravy. It is commonly found on most pub menus across the country, and is very easy to make at home.

Full English Breakfast
Breakfast usually includes bacon, sausages, eggs, baked beans, toast, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns, and black pudding. If you are doing physical work, you should eat a full English breakfast!

Sunday Roast
It is made with roasted meat (beef, chicken, lamb or pork), roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and vegetables (usually roasted parsnips, Brussels sprouts, peas, carrots, beans, broccoli or cauliflower).

Shepherd's Pie
It consists of minced lamb, vegetables (e.g. carrots, tomatoes, onions), and potatoes on top of a meat pie filling. Cottage pie uses beef and the cooking process is the same.

Scones
Scones are a British bread originating in Scotland, usually made with wheat, barley, or oatmeal, and baking powder. In Britain, scones are a staple of cream tea.
