Ghent Festival

The Ghent Cultural Festival is one of the largest cultural and folk festivals in Europe, which began in 1843. The entire city center is a festival venue, and acrobats and musicians perform throughout the streets, causing traffic jams. This event was not held for two years due to the pandemic in 2021.

A festival held in mid-July every year.

Tomorrow Land

Tomorrowland is a Belgian music festival held in Boom, Flanders, Belgium since 2005. Tomorrowland sold out days before the event, with a record attendance of 120,000 visitors in 2010. It is held annually in late July.

Zythos Bierfestival

The Zythos Beer Festival is a festival created by Belgian craft beer enthusiasts, with nearly 600 breweries and beer companies welcoming visitors.

More than 30 countries participate in this festival every year, and you can buy one or two tokens at any stall and taste 10cl of beer.

Binche Carnival

Held annually in February, the festival was designated a “Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO in 2003 for its originality and long-standing tradition.

The Binche festival is closely linked to the Catholic Easter celebrations. According to tradition, the festival was founded in 1549 for the brother of Charles Quint.
